Hi folks

Curious to see if anyone else has experienced this. I’m using MRA for my current jaunt down to Cahors on ‘D’ roads.

I've planned the routes in MRA Route Lab, and using MRA Navigator on my iPhone 15 Pro on a Qualok mount. It works ok on the faster sections, but as soon as I slow down into a town or village, the display lags by between 50-100 metres, which has led to me missing several turns.

It’s got to the point where I’m back to using Scenic app for nav now.

Anyone else had this ?

It can sometimes lag, yes. Repeatedly? No.

Non-military GPS is not exact with its positioning, especially with a phone with its sometimes limited phone signal or lesser ability to read satellite signals. My iPhone 15 can get a bit confused, just standing or walking in the street in London, using Google maps. Mix in that you are moving along at probably somewhere between 20 and 30 miles an hour, you can see how problems might happen.

I a accept that and have had the same problems trying to negotiate my way out of Liverpool Street Station!

But when I flip to Scenic, Googlemaps, they seem to work perfectly. Which suggests it’s an MRA problem.

I’ll stick with it …

my experience of MRA Navigator so far has not been great with various issues including lag, I think its still very much in development, its coming but far from the finished article yet.
