MRA Via Points to favourites in XT - possible?

Is there a way of creating Favourites in the XT from Myroute App imported routes? I'm just trying to get the viapoints ('hand' points) into the XT as key points on a route. In the past I have ballsed up a route only to find that MRA doesn't save these anywhere on the XT and if the route is lost the points are lost, so was stuffed. Trying to be prepared and learn more with a safety net. The only way I can find is by manually zooming into the points on the XT or writing down the co-ordinates, then adding these manually.

Any ideas chaps? Thanks

Anything created with a ‘hand’ in MyRoute, should transfer across to your XT, if you use Garmin Drive for the transfer. If it’s not happening, try using ‘Save As’ version 1.1.

The place should then automatically appear in your ‘Favourites’ on your XT. Home Screen > Where to > Favourites.

When you create the ‘hand’ in MyRoute it helps if you give it a name that you’ll recognise later. Something like ‘Awesome cafe’ or ‘View of hills’, in short, anything that makes sense to you and will help you to find it later.

The XT lists the ‘Favourites’ in order of proximity to where you happen to be at that moment.

PS The XT cannot lose routes. If you delete a route by accident: Home Screen > Apps > Trip Planner > Top left corner ‘Three bars’ > Import > Then import the trip(s) you need. Again, it helps if you gave the trip(s) a name you’d recognise later.
