Stuck in SE Asia.....Thank you Covid 19
I had to reload everything on my pc recently including MS Outlook for my email. Previously when I opened outlook I saw all my emails but could also use my phone and my pc at work to view them as they were kept on the email provider (BTOPenworld) server. Now what seems to happen is when I open outlook on my home pc it downloads everything fromn the server and when I look using another PC or my phone I have no emails in my inbox!!!

Can anyone point me in the settings in outlook so it doesn't download them all it just copies them to my pc

Many thanks

Outlook settings "leave mails on server"

Click that option

Al

its probably located in the account server settings somewhere.
Try Tools - Account Settings -Email. Somewhere in there there may be a setting to leave mail on the server.

try tools -> accounts
select the account and then the 'properties' button.
'advanced' tab
at the bottom under "delivery" tick 'leave copy on server'

edit
hmm - no - thats thats not for outlook - what version of outlook are you on?

Tools > Email accounts > Change > More settings > Advanced > Tick the box 'Leave copy of messages on server' :thumb
