A much mis-understood machine. I bought mine 6 years ago and traded it last year for a Harley Fat Bob. Big mistake.
The engine is epic, the handling...... Surprisingly good and the soundtrack with the right pipes is breathtaking. If you ever get the chance. Try one. (y)

Who needs practical; always liked the look of the MT01 but they never seemed to catch on :nenau

I have to ask; how effective is the exhaust heat shield ? Does it fully protect the pillions legs 😳

Standard exhausts are fine. Can't comment on mine as pillion pegs were removed.... and to be fair, the pillion would have to be very flexible. The pegs fold in right under the exhaust. There's a lot of heat off the headers.

Know of two guys with one in the garage, neither will sell even though they rarely ride them. 😢
My nephew still has his, absolutely stock and mint condition, he goes all over the place on it. He won't be selling any time soon either. I do actually regret letting mine go, but 'tis done now.

I always fancied one of these as a second bike, there is certainly something about them…..!

I agree with this, similar as well to the B king, lots of marketing but just didn't get going on sales .

Agreed. Although they did sell considerably better on the continent. The vast majority of members of the OC are Europeans.

I like the look of those hugely tall cylinders. Are the cams bevel driven or is that a styling exercise?

Always liked the look of that big V twin but was never sure about the exhaust, that's a personal thing obviously!! Don't see many about these days
