I've recently dispensed with the rear mudgaurd (or rather somebody else decided it looked tooo ugly and rammed my rear end!!)...and replaced it with a hugger from Sandbar composites...nice piece of kit..bit expensive but fits..hasn't broken ala TT...does keep the left leg drier than without.

Does anybody know who supplies the blanking screw to replace the oe one that fits into the drive shaft?....

I think Wunderlich do something that's a blanking plate for when you remove the Feck flap!!!! Try them or TT.

Read the post...........

The guy is after a blanking plug to fit in the housing... ;)

Reference is made to "Blanking Screw"

If I remember rightly the OE mudguard thingy is secured at three points. Two are bolts that are used by some replacement covers but the third hole is taken care of by a blanking plug. Unless i dreamt it........... .......... :D

I think I got mine from a BWM dealer mate. With a little plastic cover that goes over the exposed part of the casting when you take the OE shitflap off... :)

Yes. There is a genuine BMW item available, complete with 2 bolts.

I hit the third mounting, (on the final drive unit) by fixing a small plastic car trim plug with a tiny bit of adhesive.
