Mudsling fitting too close to the back tyre?

Ive got a MudSling (older type) ESA compatible with an Ilmberger hugger. There is minimal space to the hex bolt on the ESA shock. Its fitted as in the pix, causing no problems and between them the bike is clean enough most of the time.

All sorted now no rubbing and i dont know how i did it

Did you clean that 4 inches of dried crud off maybe
