Has anyone tried one of these yet?. I don't want a hugger, most of which don't seem to fit properly and this looks almost like a proper mudguard.

I got one
Expensive? oh yes......
Moulded plastic-also yes...
Held on with cable ties? yes again....
Looks almost like a factory part and is seldom noticed by the casual observer,so if you are looking for bling factor look elsewhere,
Does it work? oh yes-and much more effectively than a carbon fibre hugger (but doesn't look nearly as good), sorry I have no pics of it on the bike but there's naff all to see really![]()
Can't see how it can be as good as a hugger if it's 4 to 6 inches away from the rear wheel
I'll stick to me hugger
Nobbly
To protect the underside of the bike, battery etc, the shock and the back of my legs, as they can get covered in shite![]()

Why do you have a hugger?

Well if that's the case, trust me, the funny zip-tied plastic thing works perfectly.
If you want carbon fibre bling then it doesn't.
Neither does it rub tyres, rub the swing arm, flap around or get clogged up with shite with TKC's fitted
Seriously though, don't discount it 'cos it's not a hugger, it's a seriously good bit of kit

It looks like Andre's is the Wunderlich version........

Didnt someone make something similar using an old car rubber map, carboard templates and cable ties for about a tenner?![]()
