Mudsling, why so expensive?

Great, people raving on how good they are etc and now someone has actually took the time and shown a pic of how bad they are after loads of people (including myself) have bought one

if mine rubs I'm getting the heat gun on it and bending it in a little, not impressed though after so many people said they fit and work great and exactly the same as the mudsling

lesson learned I suppose

Hi matt, think you are being a little unfair here, from my time on this forum i know people only try and help with advice and good intentions, you myself and others all thought the Machineart was way to expensive and the chinese copy was a bargain, when fitted as shown in the pics the copy looks fine i had no idea it may be touching the swing arm until you sit on the bike, am just going to put a little 3m tape on the swing arm. I hope you get sorted and manage to return the copy without much hassle.

tarry

:D two up that makes sense, but for £25 can't whinge... :thumb

I've ordered the cheap China made one for £19.95, mind was made after bloke on RiderCam TV on Youtube sawed 2 inches off his Mudsling because it was rubbing his tyre. Wouldn't have made me feel happy after unloading £140 and that happened.

Strange that nothings new under the sun. We had moored up in Cuan sound and I had a walk around the top of Luing and in a slate quarry this young guy was doing amazing bunny hops onto ledges with a greeves scrambler with cut down rubber tyres for mud guards. ( with his skill he deserved something better)

Chinese eBay one is pretty much identical to the “original “ one .

It fits a treat and is indistinguishable imho

I've got the Chinese one. After about 6 months it has lost it's shape a bit so it now only clears the tyre by a couple of mm. Haven't worked out exactly what's gone on yet, hopefully a bit of heat will get it back into shape.
