We went last year, travelled down from the Dolomites down past Lake Garda staying here

http://www.piandercoleresort.it/

booked it through Hotelbooking.com parking behind electric gates, eat at hotel or walk 10 mins into town local resturant for superb food.

Circuit 25 mins away and its mad but utterley brilliant.

If you need copies of routes let me know, food for thought:thumb2

Planning to stop at Simonswald Germany on way, as found good place good company last year, but would like to take you up on routes thanks. :thumb2

Start point for us just north of Bolzano head south towards Trento across to top of Lake Garda then follow road alongside of Lake through Malcesine to bottom of Lake then towards Mantova. We were routed to keep off motorways but the run down past Lake Garda took longer than expected as it is all speed limits through the towns but worth it all the same so from Mantova picked up motorway towards Mondena and Bologna.

When you get towards Modena keep you're eye on the mirrors for the Ferrari test drivers out giving the latest cars a work out, 12 cylinders screaming away past you is something else:)

Come off the A1 onto SS64, after Sasso Marconi left onto SP37 58 and 65 and eventually SP42 to Borgo San Lorenzo this is really windy all the way but the scenery/views are what Tuscany is all about.

Keep heading SE SP551 towards Montebonello/Ruffina then into the hotel complex shown earlier.

All on Garmin but cannot figure out how to put link onto posting.

Have you priced up tickets yet for Mugello? they are not cheap we paid £180.00 (inc postage etc from the Circuit website)for 2 days grandstand seats in Pogio Secco stand right next to the Rossi Fan Club and big screen right in front of you.

Hope you can follow this route when you get the maps out.
