Hey all ive had my 3 bikes covered for years with principal insurance anyway called up today to stick my triumph 765 rs on in place on my bmw rt. Ok expected to pay a bit more and an admin charge they have never been to harsh before anyhoe this time told me £231.00 but i only paid £201 for the entire 3 bike policy 2 months ago. So i been with them 10 years but it was a tool on the phone and i told him so and would call back another day an speak to someone else but in the mean time thought id try some quotes elsewhere.
So asking here as im sure plenty lads have more then one bike?
I know i can search the net but ever insurance company will say they are the best an cheapest but lets face it they sometimes are not the most transparent. Cheers

Bikesure for me,they're the only ones who will touch my heavily modified Sv1000 so I multibike with them.

Yep, I stick at 2 because each one needs a separate insurance policy as well as obviously buying the bike and all the other costs

I have 6 bikes with Bikesure, on 2 policies (strangely they declined to add my CRF 250 to my existing multi bike policy).

Bemoto were useless: quoted me a good price and then couldn’t deliver when I accepted 😩

Carole Nash took care of my stable when it was upto seven and we’re competitive. I only moved away when they would not insure my 125 Honda Monkey ! Devitt also do multi bike policies , but please be aware you only acrue no claims bonus on ONE bike, work that out. I also used Peter James for three classics.

6 for simon 7 for steve....im starting to feel a bit inferior with 3 well actuall 4 in there untill my rt sells so there you ho i gained an exta inch haha. Thanks lads for all those sugestions ill be contacting 3 at least, i just sent an email to principal insurance saying look 10+ years with yoi give me a call if you want to keep me, not all about the money its service and loyalty should play a part, most the lads ive spoke to in the past always try to find best way to keeo cost fair even starting new policy is cheaper an getting a refund of the old, but this tool today was a "computer says no" kinda fella

Hi

I was with be moto for years.

For various reasons I’ve split my policies now, nothing bad about them though.

They know bikes are are good to deal with.

Multi bike policy ?
I’ve got a rider policy so I’m insured to ride any bike up to 3000cc.
Don’t even have to inform the insurers when I change bikes, which is handy 😜.
The premium has gone up a bit though . Was around £170 for a few years back.
Last renewal was £330. Robbing bastards

Hastings Direct for me. Best for my 4 - although expensive next to some of the prices I’m seeing posted here. Humpth
