Multi Car Policy - Good Discounted Pricing

It finally looks like Car Insurance prices are lowering back down again, somewhat.

My 2 Cars have their renewals coming up shortly; 1 at the beginning of August, and the other beginning of September. First Car quotes were priced circa £620, & the second Car was a similar price too - so about £1250 all in. When i went to process my policy for Car 1 with Hastings, they offered a multi-Car policy. I figured no harm done by checking what the cost might be. And managed up with a hefty discount for both vehicles - both now cost just over £450 each! A nice saving on what i was expecting to be paying this year.

The money saved there will now be going towards the next Bike trip.

Mate of mine got his fingers burnt with a 3 car policy when after a good few years the prices became uncompetitive and due to a change in circumstances he tried to go back to separate policies companies were only giving him one full set of No Claims Bonus

Are you preserving both sets of NCB in cse ypu have separate policies in future ?
Very common for multicar policies to apply just a single NCB so check you won't lose one of these in time.

I’m with Admiral for my van and I called them only yesterday asking if my NCB can be shared between two cars registered to me, they said No.

I’m not sure why because when I had a multi bike policy I only had one NCB but it was applied equally to both bikes
