I've got an Autocom SuperPro AVI and Ultimate Ear in-ear monitors. Set up works fine for radio (kenwood TK3201) and sat nav voice (2610). But music sounds crap, especially from an Ipod Nano. I know the nano doesn't have a great reputation for sound, and it also sounds poor through my Etymotic earphones, but my iAudio also sounds poor, and that sound great through the etymotics.

Any ideas?

Yes - I've got standard speakers in my Tour-X, but they don't fit in my Shoei without squashing my ears. Still a bit crap, to be honest.

No, no interference or anything - just poor sound quality, poor bass, vocals getting "lost", poor treble like listening to an old Amstrad!

If not interference and sound quality still crap on both speakers and ear phones, I suggest that the main unit is faulty and needs checking.

Are you using the Autocom line filter to connect your iPod?
I had exactly the same thing, try wiggling the jack connector at the iPod end whilst listening. I found that the jack plug is a fraction too small and on a trip to Europe had to gaffer tape the jack plug at a strange angle to get it working correctly:D

Just in case you were all concerned, turned out the Autocom was fecked due to water ingress. All is now well, thanks to the guys at Autocom:thumb2
