I will be staying in Aviemore for a week this summer, I know that there are loads of great biking roads around the area, but are there any MUST DO roads that justhave to be done before heading back south.

Lots of them

The road to Skye from Aviemore via Spean Bridge is a corker and in the opposite direction, Grantown on Spey to Tomintoul down to Braemar (over the Lecht) is a beauty too. Why not continue down to Bridge of Cally and then head over Moulin Moor to pick up the A9 back to Aviemore?

They are both easily do-able in a matter of hours in a fab day oot

I stayed in Aviemore a couple of times last year. Don't bother with the Winking Owl "night club" it's dire.
Have a ride up to Inverness,over the Beauly Firth,over the Cromarty Firth,over the Dornoch Firth,hang a left to Bonar Bridge on the A949 then take the A837 across to Ledmore and down to Ullapool and back to Tore on the A835.
Hope the weather's fine for you. Gales when I was up there. Scared myself fartless going over all those Firths.
