I went shopping for a reliable, everyday, lightweight run-around bike this time last year. In a moment of madness I accidentally bought a 20 plate MV Agusta Turismo Veloce :blast

As my mates said at the time, what would I have come back with if I'd gone out to buy an exotic? :D

Anyway, I really like it and thus far (just under 3k additional miles) it's been reliable. Yesterday though a message popped up on the dash "WARNING - H2O Sensor"

Googling leads the the MV forum where the answer seems to be check and clean the connection to the sensors - one on the radiator, one on the block. Done that - no change. So I call the dealer - MV Agusta London - who say they haven't got any in stock and that there's zero flow of parts from the factory because of the various financial comings and goings post-KTM.

Fortunately the big dash warning disappears and leaves just a small red triangle. The dealer says the bike is fine to ride - which makes sense (it's not over-heating or anything) so I think it's a case of applying the usual battlefield repair to the dash - a small square of insulating tape over the light.

Next time I'll buy the F900XR that I looked at first :yelrotflm

I think the XR would be boring after the MV and thankfully the MV is still on the road, it it weren't and no parts availability, that would be a pain. Good luck with the MV (y)

UNFORTUNATELY - I would start fiddling with it.... :blast

My first assumption would be a faulty sensor. Unscrew/pull off/whatever and read what's written on it. Google/Ai it and see what's what? It's probably something that also fitted to a dozen other bikes or cars. Get a couple from wherever, fit them........ and find that it's still faulty.....:D

Cool bike....Good luck.....:thumb2

Would try disconnecting the battery or plugging in an OBD2 scanner to see if it allows you to clear fault codes. You may already have fixed it and just need to clear the fault code?
