Saw a German regd GS1150 in Figueras last week with one of these fitted:

Didn't get chance to speak to the rider as he was still in the supermarket and I couldn't wait for him/her any longer to show!

Anyone seen them before or tried one? The GS also sported a Touratech one-piece seat...

I have the large one (with de horizontal hole in it). And it works great for me.
I ride a new R1150 GS with adventure screen (seat on highest position). I'm 6' and when I got above 90km/h I got really heavy buffeting on my helmet which was very tiresome. And made it almost impossible to do some serious highway riding.

After installing this windspoiler from MV Verholen in its' utmost vertical position (it rotates around 2 points, so alot of positions are possible), I have no buffeting at all. I can easily look over it, it keeps the bugs from my visor and I can drive with my visor open, so...
Yes it's great, especially for that price (55 euro) ...
Direct link to the airshield info

BWT Touratech also have soemthing comparable but it seems to have a security strap which makes it butt ugly IMHO.

Coincidentally I saw one on EBAY last night but the prices was creeping up to the €55 quoted on the website......

I'm 6ft too and wide...... and although I am used to the buffeting I am looking a the various options.....

I wasn't too attentive when I saw the one in Spain. I assume it clamps to the top of the standrard screen and has some sort of rubbers to stop the screen getitng chewed up?

The 2 screws are on the inside, MV delivers a smal steel plate which goes between the screws and the windshield , so that the forces coming from the 2 screws are properly distributed on to the windscreen. I've put a small piece of packaging foil between it for extra protection. I haven't had it off yet since it does such a good job. But if you put it on and don't start to put it on and off the whole time, I don't think it does much damage to your screen.

BTW if you want to take it on and off regularly you better buy the version with the "high speed clamp".
