MX Supplier Midlands

Hi Guys,

Been having a mare trying to find some MX boots to fit. I'm size 12 but with large calves which seems to be the issue

Does anyone know of a MX clothing supplier in the Midlands area that has a large stock of boots so I can try different styles.

May not be a great deal of help to you, but got talking to an absolute giant of a bloke in Hein Gericke some months ago. He had tried loads of different boots from various manufacturers with no luck, if he could get the right size for his feet, they wouldn't close around the tree trunks above them. He had a quote from someone like Altberg (I think) but the price was an issue. Ended up buying a pair of Alpinestar ankle boots and wore shin guards. Don't know if tht's a satisfactory option for you.

How about contacting Wulf Sport, they are based in Cumbria, but are very good quality reasonably priced kit....you can view them on line or give them a call, they are a helpful bunch.

Someone has put up the shop in Coalville, went there the other month while searching for my boots....i got the impression its more of a hog rider/goth shop.

Quick update......just been told a kid we know takes a size 12 and he had some Alpine Stars Tech 10 sent over from the USA....Not a cheap item, but they saved his foot in a serious road crash the other day. Post van drove into the side of him, pushed his boot into the frame, bent the frame of the bike, his foot was saved and he will make a full recovery because he was wearing the Tech 10s.
