With everything pre prepped it’s all flying together.

Wow, that's moving on at a pace, I will probably see you riding it in a couple of weeks!
If I wasn’t going to change the tyres for Dunlop K70’s it would be a rolling chassis tomorrow. Shame as the tyres it came with are brand new. Bodywork is still at the painters as well.

Another productive day. I am going to change the tyres but I couldn’t resist putting the wheels on just to admire it. One unresolved problem, the drain plug for the final drive shaft is very tight and I don’t want to force it. Other than that I’m pleased and it’s now beer o’clock.

Every day a little bit more done. The only big job outstanding is the wiring.

Bodywork has been returned by Tony at Cycle Sprays, Cowfold. I’ll start on refitting tomorrow.

I couldn’t resist taking a picture today even though it’s not finished. I should have put the sidepanels on too. As soon as lockdown is over I’ll deliver it to Tom at Foundry Motorcycles for a custom wiring loom. I’m also going for a single speedo and no revcounter.

I think it's an age thing, when I was 17/18 years old I thought BMW looked odd nothing like other bikes more like the aging Triumph and BSA offerings. Now I think any BMW of this era have really good classic lines and proportions. The eye of the beholder and all that. Nice bike Paul lets have some more pics when complete.

Me too. That bike just oozes class.

A dry day so some of the bikes out to give the workshop a tidy-up. One interloper in the line but I still love it.
