My 1150GS is a big unwieldy pig?

I found my 1100 very difficult to get on with to start. Feels strange, vague, slow steering, brakes lack bite, the list went on. 300 miles later and its starting to feel familiar and its winning me over!

Actually I think I`m going to change the title to `I`m a big unwieldy pig !`. Firstly thanks so much for all the helpful replies - really nice to know there are so many nice people round to help.
Took the bike to the dealers today and he adjusted the rear taper bearing I think he said.
No problems as they will replace the bearing no questions asked if the play comes back.
Reset all sus settings to standard as per you advice. Wow this is a different bike altogether - really stable and very confidence inspiring.
Bloody fun to ride. Now for some new anakees and start saving for some ohlins - hafta paint them the original grey spring colour so she who must be obeyed doesnt bust me.....again!That would make 23627 times in 17 years of wedded bliss..ahem ahem. Thank God she doesn`t speak any English .
