THANX

I'd Like to say a Big Thank you to all you Guys who've replied.....
Hadn't expected any kind of response....It makes it all worth while to recieve one piece of Graditude, never mind 30 odd, in a time when so many feel like putting people in my proffession down....

I am at heart still one of them boys running around playing Cops and Robbers and when my significant other laydee is askin me to call it a day... I tell her how many others would try so hard to make a difference.......

My point is there are others a bit like me who still want to do the right thing and stop these F#~kers from blighting normal peoples lives, we are however frowned upon because those that are in positions of Supervisory roles.....Have forgotton what our role is!!!!!! I swore an oath to protect life, property and the keep the peace and lock up wrong do'ers and will do until my work is done :rob especially on a new 1200 GSA :clap
Thanx to you all once again Bish..........

Wow!

Cometh the hour, cometh the man!

:clap :clap

Respect & admiration. Last year I witnessed an ambulance driver use his ambulance to stop what I thought was a drunk driver doing 70mph on the wrong side of the road through central Dublin! The car ended up on the guy's foot as he wrestled to get the keys - very painful. Turned out the driver was a diabetic in some sort of coma. I have NO DOUBT if the ambulance driver hadn't acted, someone would have been killed - the car was 100 metres from a college with kids and pedestrians all over the road. I did call his company to commend his quick thinking and bravery. The funny part was that the Garda (Police) at the scene (after they found out the driver was diabetic and in poor shape and had removed the handcuffs) asked the ambulance guy (hopping about on one foot) if he could take the diabetic to hospital   The answer was unprintable.

You may have stopped this toerage going on to kill or injure someone - you'll never know. Hats off! :bow

Cheers,

Psyko.

Well done big fella :thumb
We need more plod like you on the streets, not this PC boll*x that you have to peddle these days from trendy fastracked uni educated chief constables. We need to get back to good old fashioned coppering, especially traffic.I'll climb off me soapbox before I really get started, but you boys really seem to have your hands tied behind your backs these days.Fight the good fight and all that. :bow :D

Top Bloke, Top Cop, and Top reactions

I think that this is what every 'civil' person in the UK wants to hear - Cops doing cops jobs! I remember the days when, if you got caught speeding, the man in blue (flourescent these days) pulled you over, gave you a good bollocking, and (unless you were doing something really dangerous) if you showed the right attitude, and did you have a list of endorcements as long as your arm, sent you on your way with a flea in your ear driving/riding at a much slower pace!

Nowadays we have cameras, pretend Police in their pretend police cars (highway agency staff), parking attendants that would put ticket on a kids push bike, etc, etc!

The way things are going nowadays, you'll probably get a bollocking for damaging your bike, rather than the much deserved praise for apprehending some scum who doesn't give a sh!te about anyone else.
(Rant mode off!)
