My previous GSA was a 2016 model and I thought that was brilliant. My brief DCT Africa Twin affair lasted eight months and while it was a great bike, I’m just a GSer at heart after seventeen years of them. The new 1250 is pretty epic. 150miles today and the bike feels planted and pulls like a train. At 5’9 I opted for the low suspension model and it is spot on.

I love that color combination even more than Triple-Black :thumby: If I would go back to an ADV that is the one I would buy too ! Very nice...

I don’t think it’s a colour scheme at all,
Silver crash bars, grey rocker covers, white front subframe, black rear subframe, silver rear foot peg hangers, silver seat undertray.
In my view it looks like a parts bin special, which is why I had my Rallye GS painted to all match.

r1 happy - pictures don't do it justice as I have seen the 2021 ADV T-B sitting next to a 2021 ADV Rallye...As much as I love(d) T-B the white Rally ADV with the black wheels looks great :thumb2 The 2021 regular GS Rallye for some reason looks not as good and here I would prefer T-B but unfortunately you can only get the must have sports-suspension with the Rallye trim...

The seat though for me is over the top and I would take the regular one in solid black and probably change the wheels for black cast ones as the exhaust for an Akra EU-3...I also like to have the bigger tank giving 100 miles more range but my 2019 HP is a little lighter/more agile...We can't have it all I guess...;)

Certainly a mix of colours, but at least it doesn’t have the BMW gold wheels

I think the seat ruins it slightly. Can’t work out why but it doesn’t quite gel, obviously IMHO.

I know what you mean. I think If the whole top of the seat were black, rolling over down the sides just a ttle and then it had the colours as they buy just on the side it would look better . There is somehow too much white on the seat. Great looking bike though :thumb

As comments show, it's a personal choice in fact, I think that seat looks superb but imo body and bars now looks bland. It's your bike and if you love it, let live..

I follow a guy on his Rallye, I think the white rallye enduro inspired really looks mega and shows you can really personalise them to suit yourself.

I like the seat, like a 'French Tart's Knickers'. :D

Quite possibly.

I completely understand the comments about the “whiteness” of the bike and I nearly had second thoughts. But, in the flesh, it looks good. Having said that, a black Sargent seat and black Xtremada soft panniers should help the balance.

Thoughts on enhancing the side panels? Any thoughts on black knee protectors?

I like it. And in 10 years time looking back you won’t care about the colour combo.

Prefer the GS to the GSA Rob, but not the gold wheels, unfortunately, my ATAS has them too!

That’s the best colour by far Jeremy :thumby:

It is funny how colors make or break bikes...if couse I.M.H.O.
2019 I thought and still think the regular GS HP looks better than the GS-ADV HP...The regular GS in HP colors looks like a 2004 last year Boxercup R1100S which I thought was a really good looking and equally good riding Boxer BMW but I did not buy one back then because it had no ABS which in my opinion in combination with the Telelever was the best feature of the bike getting in front of much faster bikes on track days outbraking them after long straights...
In 2021 the defunct HP replaced by the Rallye I think the ADV looks better than the regular GS despite both having the motorsport colors not unlike last years S1000RR in motorsport colors with black wheels...Triple black 10 years later after my first one in 2012 and second one in 2017 has not changed at all and you can't go wrong with it but it does not excite me as much today as it did back then when I bought my 1200 T-B ADVentures , one air the other water cooled

150 miles ,I thought we were in lockdown ??? :blagblah :D
