My 2010 GSA just stopped!!

Motobat every time. The fit perfectly unlike the Odessy which has to be modified AFAIK. I fitted a Motobat several years ago and never looked back. Flashing odometer, sorry I don't know but I would try a battery disconnect (reboot) and then connect back up and see what happens.

OK nice one I'll search.

Regarding the flashing mileage, any ideas?

I found these;

There is more on the forum if you do a search for it.

Seems there is a discrepancy between the stored mileage and the odometer reading which needs rectifying by a dealer.

I know the stored mileage and the odometer reading of my bike do not agree by a small amount as i have read it
with my Gs911 but i do not have the flashing problem. I think it may be because the error is below a threshold.

Thank for the replies.
The flashing mileage has only just started since I had the battery disconnected to charge overnight when I had the battery issue day before yesterday. It didn't flash prior.

A good job it didn't start a fire.

Maybe it would be worth wrapping the exposed area of the metal seat adjusting bar in a few layers of electrical insulating tape for peace of mind ??

The correct size battery shouldnt have the terminals anywhere near the framework.

I fitted the Odyssey with terminals to the front. No way they can get tangled with the seat. New battery needs less space but fitted the same way as that's how the wires are now running.
