MY 2017 Triple Black GS

Yeah, I think I seen online somewhere that the markings on the clocks are a little different to make them a little more legible.

Are the clocks different on the 2017 model?

Interested as the dealer we got out TB's from said the 2017 model was not available till December.

Yep, they are different, and slightly easier to read.

Your dealer is an arse.

Yes - much easier! I can actually use the mechanical speedo instead of having to depend on the digital readout. All bikes manufactured and shipped post-September are Euro4 spec. However, BMW are offering significant contributions to clear out Euro3 stock.

Picked up my 2017 Triple Black GS today from Williams Manchester

Ere!

Actually the 'exclusive' seats that are fitted on the 2017 GS-TB are very comfortable, I have covered 1400 miles on my new bike and these are the best LC seats yet, and definitely much more comfortable than on my previous 2015 GSA.

This new TB-E4 is such a cracking bike, I'm loving mine.... it really is the dog's doo-dars!:clap
Must ask , what's the E4 ..... is this the upgraded bike , if so is there a relative frame number i.e. From

E4 = Euro 4 so charcoal emissions canister and reflector on the fork legs etc etc

All 2017my bikes are Euro 4 compliant

Great looking bike, hope you enjoy it and your shoulder keeps improving!
Curious as to where the charcoal canister is located and it's size?
cheers

I traded in the Night Storm.

Loved it but found the clutch lever really heavy for longer journeys and not really an everyday bike, so the GS is far more practical for everything really.

Would love to have kept both but it wasn't an option.

Apparently the charcoal canister does not exist on this bike as the GS-LC was already up to E4 emissions legislation in it's original state.

My dealer told me the above, but I still looked over my bike with a fine toothed comb and guess what...no charcoal canister exists!

I'm really loving this E4-T/B it's my fourth GS-LC (inc x1 GSA) and the best one yet, very comfortable ride, excellent fueling, the best seats ...really comfortable, good box and nice clutch...the GS-LC is now a very complete bike indeed!

43 days old...and 2400 very enjoyable miles covered so far. :thumb2
