It kills, it knacks, and I'm not sitting on a dead Shaun the sheep, nae way!

I cannat afford a serjey seat unless they do a Lance Corp, and my fingers aren't nimble enough for the FS section.

In the Northumberland / Tyne & Wear(pig) area can any of you recommend a seat builder to turn my GS12 seat into something I can sit on for more than 1 hour. Price & quality is the consideration

I remember Graeme taalking about one on the Hill somewhere's, but any ideas.

Get some more padding on yer erse boy!

Eat more pies!

..or try Melvin Hunter at www.motorbike-seats.co.uk

He did mine.

:beerjug:

I know he's not local, but just talk to him and tell him what you want and post your seat off to him.
I borrowed a spare seat from a mate while mine was being done.

A sarge is worth the money. I bought a mint second hand one on ebay at about half the new price. Just did over 2,000 miles in France & Belgium on it and it works:thumb2

Try Saddlecraft at Tyne Dock, South Shields 0191 4556262.

He did a superb job on my 1150:thumb

Sold my Airhawk soon after

Your choice mate:beerjug:

My taught honed physique rejects pies and kebabs.

I might try him over winter if nobody local, but I'd rather stay local rather than some gadgie from the Midlands*

*Disclaimer I've nothing against the midlands, but you all talk funny and are soft:rolleyes:

The lad above hunters did mine he used orthapedic foam and reshaped it £70. It is a gs low seat and he matched it to the standard gsa seat. I have just come back from the top end of scotland (Durness) 407mls in a day no problems

I like people like this guy:thumb

Asked at Hunters what time he opens, around 10ish? the reply. Salt & Pepper for a stottie, came back 10:30 shut, so had a look see in 'Painless Erics' came out around 10:50, and he's having a brew and a rolley

Davie Paterson, Looked at his work, looks a proper craftsman to me.

Spot on like, I asked him about Gel seats and he said the problem is they retain the heat, so if your hot or and in a hot country (or day) a wee uncomfertable, so nae chance here.

£110 for the pair, so I'll be dropping them off on Tuesday next

I've a "Shaun-the-sheep" on mine.

Recently did Austria to Zeebrugge (554 Miles) in 10.5 hours.
Didn't hurt a bit.

They might not look good - ie no street cred, but it really works.
