I've now switched to DIY moulded earphones giving me the option to still hear my music at speed on the motorway, or leave them out and rely on helmet speakers on B roads. Happy with that!

What I would now like is a handlebar twist volume switch which would be easier than reaching for the zumo. It also needs to switch off my mic so i can still hear uninterrupted music on windy days or be able to have a good sing along (come on, we all do it).

Even better, it would also have a switchable mic so that when I pull over to talk to mates riding with me we don't have to rely on sign language. It would also be nice to switch it on if I need to hear the engine a little.

Just sayin'..... :thumb2

As a bike electrician extraordinaire do I take you think I'm asking a bit much?!? I'd better go back to the drawing board then....

On the contrary, it was just that spirit who prompted the late Tom Beman to start Autocom in the first place. I have a brochure with a picture of the still-born Automcom Super Pro Remote Control with a handle-mounted volume control if you want more inspiration.

Regards,

John
