Hi all,

my gs is starting to loose some oil from the back wheel, please check the attached image. Any idea about the problem? is it just an o'ring or something serious. I bought it second hand recently so I still have the warranty....

Seal's gone.

Mine went at about 22k on both my vanilla 1200 and on my GSA.

BuMW will repair under warranty, no problem.

thanks for your reply, I bought it from a honda dealer so I should have the 6 months warranty...If they won't fix that for free do you know more or less the cost for it? thanks a lot...

I had one go in Germany recently,BMW warranty picked up the bill but the garage (BMW Chemnitz) told me parts and labour would have come to 77Euro,not a major job then
