PINCHED FROM MY GARAGE LAST NIGHT, HOW I DIDNT HEAR THEM GOD ONLY KNOWS GIVEN THE DAMAGE TO THE GARAGE DOOR. FORTUNATELY THEY DIDNT TOUCH THE GSA OR PANNIERS ETC!

ITS BEEN UP FOR SALE ON EBAY AND I'VE ONLY HAD ONE CALL, I GAVE HIM MY ADDRESS AND I HAVE HIS PHONE NUMBER - ALL REPORTED TO THE POLICE.

IF ANYONE SEE'S ONE GOING CHEAP COULD THEY LET ME KNOW!!!!!!!!!

Get the garage alarmed or buy a Rottweiler quick, or else they'll be back for the GSA.
Bad luck mate :(

My brother in laws dirt bike was stolen from his garage in Northampton. They peeled the garage door open like a sardine can and took the bike off its trailer. It was recovered several months later sold on to another innocent and the thief was caught.

Sorry to hear that mate :(

But I agree with the previous sentiment - be careful with the garage now they know it's worth coming back to.

secure it

check your security guys.... they did this to mine:

definately, steel door and frame on the way... that plus a shed alarm,

thankfully the 1200GSA wasn't touched and they didnt knick my panniers etc!!!

i hope you get it back bro,or at least you had it insured :( :( :(

Yet Another

Your not the first, or for sure the last. Your lucky if its insured. My pal had a similar occurence, dirt bikes are very popular to nick..................................Lock the others up !!!

My friend up in liecester just had two bikes stolen this week.

They cut through 4 locks ,rolled his car out ,dragged out two bikes chained together, put the car back and closed the garage door.

Nice to see they cleaned up after themseves eh!

Just remember to spend some money on the hinge side of the door as well, its a place alot of people forget about when they spend hundreds on the locks etc.

Best route IMO is door bars that locate in the steel frame on the hinge side when the door is closed locate the steel frame in its aperture with long bolts into the brickwork (not screws and rawl plugs), weld the hasp and staple to the door and frame use a good heavy padlock or two and an external light triggered by a PIR helps, Ground anchors in the garage as well :thumb

.....and add a baby alarm! Garage to Bedroom - they just plug in and are well worth the money.

Yeah copper turned up this evening to take prints and they were wearing gloves so no joy there. and apprently there have been a spate of thefts in leicester this week so probs the same gang.

They moved my 1200 GSA panniers out of the way to get the Honda out, thankfully they didnt pinch them as well!!!!
