Any Hi-Fi buffs out there want to drool over this. It's my Christmas pressie to myself.
"High quality, THX Select certified, the VSX-AX3 is a powerful A/V receiver, built according to Pioneer’s Advanced Multi-channel Stereophonic Philosophy. This means that this amp’s design adapts certain AIR Studios’ professional sound engineering principles to the home environment. Besides AIR Studios fine-tuning, the VSX-AX3 features the Pioneer exclusive Advanced Direct Energy MOS FET circuitry, ensuring a stable sound image and strong drivability for all 7 channels — each with a power output of 100 W. And with the Automatic Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration(MCACC) system with microphone, it will seem like one of the professionals from AIR Studios is adjusting the sound in your living room."
It's awesome.....I connected it up last night and sat back and was just blown away with the sound quality . Listening to digital radio through the Sky Box has reached a whole new level and as for DVD movies....this baby is the max
I have only worked my way through about a quarter of the functions so I look forward to playing around some more during the next few days.
