Well,
Had the bike for 24 hours:
Horrendous rain around my are yesterday, but hey I bought the GS for all weathers and it needs running in so picked the bike up, dropped the paperwork at home and off I went for a bimble around the Chilterns and Oxon in torrential rain.
Spent most of the time in 'rain' mode due to new tyres, new brakes, and oh the rain.
The bike spun up and/or lost it's footing a few times, no problem, it just sorted itself out. I couldn't have a proper play because I'm running it in.
Upon my return home about a hundred miles later the rear end (especially the rear wheel) and the the back of my waterproofs and boots were caked in shite. The shock though was pretty clean.
Does anyone do a hugger or similar yet?
Tried the commute run today in prep for tomorrow - much better than my T-bird - I can see over everything and the LED running light does it's job.
I have the standard halogen head's with the LED running light, switching the lights on the run behind someone makes them get out of the way rather quickly - can't think why........
It's very nimble and very well behaved in the traffic, just got to remember the sensitivity of the e-gas system.
All in all - No regrets, I think it'll be the perfect all rounder I bought it to be.
