Im planning a trip to the Black sea later this year and wanted a bit more space in my top box. My standard Givi box is perfect for daily use but the rounded shape restricts use. The BMW top box is a good shape outside but its so heavy for its capacity.
I know the luggage bit has been done over and over but I cannot find much relating to Alpos luggage.
Being a bit tight the cost £85 incliding VAT & P&P grabbed my attention. Is so much cheaper than anything else plastic or metal I did not know what to expect.
It arrived two days later and I am very happy with the construction and manufacure. The extruded and swaged top and bottom are very robust and silicon sealed. The strip on the lid seal is well held (unlike my friends BMW alloy Adventure box which pulls out each time he opens the lid)
The clasp is cheap and has no lock, but padlocks or pannel locks can be fitted. There is no QD fitting kit so I will reinforce the base and bolt it to the bike.
The only weak area may be the spot welding of the side. I may fit a few rivets to be sure. I have looked at a few other boxes and have not seen many better.

If you get caught out you could make a big pot of stew in that as well
