Hi all
Still using gs 1100 as much as I can
Trundling down m42 slight hiccup and then cut out
Fuel pump primes and starter turns
Called recovery and whilst waiting tried again and it fired up
When it broke down I’m sure I saw the rev counter bounce
Ive been reading and hall sensor seems to be favourite
My bike has just turned 56 thou
Quick couple of questions
Best hall sensor to get and where from
And can you time it without a special timing box or do you need one
Cheers all

Top man
Cheers for prompt reply
I’ll pull mine off and make sure I order the right plug

A couple of stuck on motorway photos
Scary place the hard shoulder

My mate recovered my original seat
Which was originally yellow
The owner before me painted it black so I had it recovered yellow again
My mates hate it but I think it’s fine
As bmw intended

And you had a hard shoulder...! I went Sooth last autumn and was on M6 pissing rain dark Saturday eve, shit loads of traffic doing idiot things and "Smart" operation... On the long lefts with those stupid lay byes every so often I thought it should be the job of the idiots that think it's safe to test them personally... I thought bailing out on the central reservation was probably the safer bet...!🙄
Hope it's fixed soon from a fellow 11GSer...👍😉

At least I can fix it unlike modern stuff
It’s weird
If it was one of my new bikes I’d be pissed
But being the old 94 gs just get it home and fix it
Never felt annoyed at it
Just love the bones of it

I've bought both the Motorworks offerings, OEM and aftermarket with no probs and fixed myself... 👍

I agree , my GS 1100 came with a Corbin seat in black but after a long hunt I managed to find an original in yellow, I think it looks great:) I have the poster from 1993 featuring the bike in your colour scheme , promised myself I would have one ...

My mate bought Noddy’s ( on here ) 1100 years ago. It was the same colour scheme. That’s why he called himself Noddy. Top bloke. :thumb2
