At least once a week, I ha'e to visit remand and serving prisoners (oor clients) at Perth prison. In the case of a recent murder, I was there 3 and 4 times a week for several weeks. I really enjoy the run up through Falkland, Strathmiglo and ower Glentarkie to Aberargie. I often use the bike and it's a really enjoyable run. Yesterday, I stopped in at Schloss Coolcarbon for a coffee and a bit craic. Lovely day, sittin drinkin' coffee on the banks of the River Tay. Gettin' paid for the privilege...

I then learned that all prisoners wi' a Kirkcaldy area postcode are being transferred to Edinburgh nick. :(

My prison visits will now consist of sittin' on dual carriageway there and back for roughly the same amount of miles. Now, there's a wee bit of half decent B class road through Auchtertool but it's a gitter for me to get ontae it. I'll probably just stick to the main roads.

Feck. :(

Ronno ,

I bet there are roads you dont know that you will now be 'forced' to find and use................"every cloud...", and all that?

Why would you come along the A92 with the chance of there being camera vans when you could be having a blast across the greasy, shite covered surface of the Auchertool Road? Part of the fun is making sure you can get past the slow traffic on the few overtaking opportunities. A great road - I come home that way almost every night......:D

a commuter thats whit wir typin on (:toungincheek na a must be talkin p again):D

Just think of the commute home from Edinburgh to Fife......I do. Well I am dreaming of it just now....not cummuting at the moment....soon though...
