Took the latest one out on Sunday again and still smiling!
14,000 miles from new and it's an absolute pleasure to ride, tinker about with and generally go all misty eyed over my lost and wasted yoof!

Trouble is they become very addictive very quickly!
I wanted a Greeny but it is the wrong colour for a B2 and I am desperate for a set of OE shocks!

Still, I defy anyone in the 47 - 53 age bracket not to look back fondly on such a thing. :drool

Id love one to keep as a second bike so could I be really nosey and ask how much a minter like yours would be?

Health to ride Colin .. it is a classic :aidan

Nice.. Im 46 & bought a second hand B1, after passing my bike test on mi XL185. She was a beauty but sadly let her go for a ludicrously cheap price, whilst I was serving overseas & needed t' money.

Sorry for the crappy pic, scanned in from a very old photo.
BTW thats an Alpha 4 into 1 exhaust, it made the best motorcycle exhaust note Ive ever heard, plus on engine overun with badly setup timing blue flames could be seen exiting the pipe.

Bought back fond memories

+1 to that!

I'm 47 and my first big bike was a Z650F2...

It blew up in Switzerland, I put it on the train to Dover and changed the engine.

A real classic :thumb2

Thats a real beauty. I remember taking one for a long test ride just after they came out, loved it but could`nt get the dealer to give me enough for my Triumph T140V as a trade in, I was gutted.

I have got a KZ650,same model, same colour.Unfortunately it is not as nice as yours and is in a large pile of parts as an ongoing project. One day.........

It took some digging, but I knew I had a picture somewhere of me on't green snot........:)
