Hi gents,

... been a long time since I've been bothering you.. :thumb Guess I've been liking my inline four a bit too much :hide That is until I had a go on the HP2 Megamoto.. :green gri What a bike! :bounce1

Anyhoo; if you care to read about what I thought, have a look on my site. :) http://jocke.selincite.com/bikes/megamoto :roll

Good write up there Jocke :thumb2 sadly these things are too bloody expensive compared to the KTM`s etc :( Look great fun though :D

Good write up indeed :thumb

Anyone know where the extra 5BHP comes from? Is it just a less restrictive can?

I love the look of the Megamoto.

But it is SOOOO expensive.

I've just read the test in the Nov issue of Bike, pitting the Megamoto against the Ducati Hypermotard 1100S and KTM 950 Supermoto.

The KTM winds it by a mile despite being £4000 cheaper and a 2 year old bike BMW.
The Ducati comes third and the Megamoto a very distant last.

They liked the motor but little else.Slating the awful forks especially.

Only 30 coming to the UK which is probably all they can sell !!

A matter of taste...

Sounds like a shite rapper with chronic indegestion !!

Very true for most of dead boring commercial V-Twins with no originality in their sound harmonics, the sound you hear in every corner of the street everywhere in the World, from Hardleys to KTMs to chinese bolloxbikes. Just a rumbling veetwin shete, and its even more emphasized when equipped with Akras. :D :augie

Take a flat twin, add Akra and there's a precision, originality and soul in sound that softly kisses your ears. Fundamentally better sound containing even-harmonics IMO :thumb

loved the dismount :bow

I saw one in Switzerland last week and the shear presence it commanded was amazing. I recon it must be a superb tool for a serious blast down some country roads...

Was that Christian Pfeffer....???
