The bike looks good to go.....so why wait 3 weeks?
Might be tax reasons like here in France, to get the relief from 'pre-registered' the dealer has to 'own' the bike for 3 months.
Still, not sure if that's the same in Blighty, so I'll shut up

If you have to wait 3 weeks, consider getting the dealer to ACF50 treat it for you before it comes out of the showroom. Worth it if you're riding it this time of the year
I did that with my Anniversary GSA back in November 2010, & now it's on it's 3rd winter without a sign of any corrosion
