How is the suspension, just read in Ride that most find the suspension setup not great and change to aftermarket stuff?
That's my first impression of the bike. It's tiny!
It's certainly not fat Tosser sizedat 5'10" it is spot on for me - looking at that pic and where his knees are that rider is much taller than me. It looks tiny parked next the GS.
Suspension at standard settings is race track firm but it is fully adjustable I have taken the compression damping almost all the way to minimum front and back but left the rebound at about 25% above min and it works brilliantly - however it will never float over a really rough road like the GS.
If like my Ohlins it is all fully adjustable I would seriously recommend taking it to someone who knows what they are doing and have it set up properly ( you may think you know what you are doing but ...) All the sag, both static and rider, measurements etc is not a one man job for a start and that is where you need to start before buggering about with damping and compression
I took mine to an Ohlins specialist and for 30 quid it achieved what i couldn't or wouldn't have without a great deal of time and effort it is now sublime
Might give it a try - where did you go?
A place in Barnsley ( of all places ) Mick Gardener racing but i believe that MCT are in suffolk and well recommended are nearer to you http://www.mctsuspension.co.uk/Home.html but more expensive
Size comparison with R9T
.And Triumph will just tell you to "fuck off" if you try to attempt a warranty claim on anything involving the word 'corrosion'
