I ummed and arrred over were to put this, as I did only really buy it as a dog walking coat, but if I put it in the B&B it'd dissappear and I think it's worth more than that.......it could also be a genuinely good festival/camping coat, so I've bunged it here :thumb

Anyway....I got a new dog walking coat a couple of weeks back and after a good few uses in some fairly serious weather, I have to report it's a cracker for the price :thumb2

Two large exterior pockets (leads, treats, poo bags and recall whistle) and a decent interior pocket (phone)

Seems completely waterproof, though I did rapidly find that I had to wear wellies with it 'cos the torrential rain will run down the long back and make your calves wet instantly.

The largest size is a good fit on me (20 stone six foot four) and it's toasty, even out on the beach flats at low tide with a gale blowing (the leg straps are a little short for my fat calves though....I am going to lengthen them with a bit of webbing)

I intend to ride in it at some point (just for the humour factor really, it'll be no good for crash protection) but as a dog walking coat, camping coat or whatever, a good buy for the money (65 quid delivered) against some of the 'branded' names at 150-200+ quid.

I have no connection to them whatsoever, just a happy punter :blagblah

I did have a couple of pics from the shanty weekend of me wearing it on the beach, but I've lost them......and frankly, I probably look a tit in it.....it's never going to be the height of fashion and frankly, I really don't give a toss what I look like in it, it just WORKS :thumb2

WEYYYYYHEYYYY….looking a little wooden there fannykins old stick.:D

Ditto for me, if it works who the feck cares what it looks like, actually it looks better than me cagool.

Took Ruby into the old WWII defences again today* walk report will be coming soon  (the local teenagers who shag in there and smoke weed down the tunnels etc, bless'em, call it 'the dubs' but I've no fucking idea why ) and the coat seems to be thorn and bramble proof as well........
What more could you want from a cheap(ish) all year 'round all purpose doggit walking coat :clap

Yes I got me one too, picked it up in a ironmongers/outdoor clothing shop on Exmoor for £60 ish. Best thing about it thats its the same colour as my dog, now the dark evenings are here we walk our paths under a cloak of invisibility.

Nice garment, I believe these coats are very popular with the crowd that "Drink from both taps".:D

Driza-bone, Australian stcokman's coat. First class rugby attire on damper days and the City when it's lashing down.

Can't be faulted.

Internal straps to hold it close to the legs when riding a horse, preventing flapping. Not that Fanum would ever rise a horse, as he is scared of them.

I'd have my batman buy one for me if I were in your shoes, Sir Dicky, but sadly, they are rather dear :(

This one is pretty much the same, but a 1/4 of the price (a third maybe :nenau)
