Have been saving for years... was finally R10 000 (800 quid?) away from a new one in 2007 when the ex-wife stepped in and with attorneys claimed the funds.

NOW 2009 and I finally paid my new GSA in full on Wednesday this week. In fact my neighbour was so impressed.... (he rides an old R75/5 and Honda XR500R) when he came along to BMW... he bloody well bought the one standing right next to mine!

So on Monday morning (9th Nov) - we collect 2 x Full spec GSA and start the training phase of our ride planned in July from Cape Town to London! :augie

Man are we looking forward to this one.....

Unfortunately no quick pics yet.... I will have to renew my subscription (which expires today) when I get a family member in the UK to do so (my lloyds account was closed this year).... when renewed, will post the pics of the new girl!

Hope to run into many UKGser's on the way or at least in Europe!

So this weekend ended and I decided to drop off the new Heidie’s at Auto Atlantic so they can replace the Karoo’s.

Looking at her standing all alone…. I could swear I hear the wimpering – she needed the attention she deserved.

My new girlfriend…. Waiting for attention!

Decided that TODAY was the day – stuff the rest! I was waiting for my mate to get his learners on Saturday, but goodness the weather is nice for riding today. So I called Iwan and told him that I’m sorry, I’ve waited too long now and just have to get the GSA today, so maybe he should come down and visit his new scoot and complete all the paperwork.

Stuff that! He arrived with helmet and jacket………… and without ceremony or further ado, we left the waterfront on the new steeds!

Unfortunately we both had to go back to work, but decided a short detour via Campsbay was in order.
