Whooohooo,

Traded in my GS TE yesterday for this GSA TE. As mentioned before, i got the Ocean Blue panels changed for the olive green, which i much prefer. Have only done about 130 miles on it so far, but its awesome. Bike feels much more planted than the GS and corners like its on rails! Engine and gearbox are smooth like butter and i don't notice any extra weight at all. Weirdly the rear view mirrors are also better, they have a convex shape, so you can see much more than i could on the GS.

Nicely done, congratulations.:thumb

Don't forget the fender extender & mudsling.;)

cheers chaps. No idea why the mirrors are different, but they definitely are. At the moment, the neutral light isn't really working.... something to get sorted at the first service next week.

New mirrors, you say? Right, time for me to get a new bike!:P

It's a shame they sold you what now looks like last years model in the slowest colour. :aidan

How much taller is the rallye seat on the GSA?

How much taller is the rallye seat on the GSA?

I do seem to notice a slight difference but BMW show it as only 5mm higher than the stock GSA seat at 895mm. I have the rallye seat on high at the front and low at the back to create a flat bench you can move about on. Funnily enough, i took it off this morning and the stock GSA seat is much more comfortable. Weird, because the Rallye seat was much more comfortable than the stock GS seat. I took the Rallye seat off so i could run the GSA with the stock seat at lowest setting with the preload a bit higher as i don't like the way to rides with just 1 helmet showing, so i put it to 1 helmet plus luggage. Its a bit too tall with the Rallye seat on high and the preload up a notch.

So im gonna run the stock seat for a bit and see how it goes.

Where's the video review of the new bike then, Crotchrocket?

Sweet!
