Had her nearly a month now. Lovely little bike. Screen (now with Amazon extender) is excellent, TFT dash is easy to see even in direct sunlight. I've been using her for bike training so she's doing everything from small twisty roads to motorways and does both with ease. 72 mpg average so far which is pretty good.
A little bouncy at the rear, but improved by upping the preload one notch. Non adjustable front forks are fine. Saddle is very comfy, the first bike in a while that I don't need to add a seat cushion to.

Looks like the upgraded model so is it post '21?

I think there were suspension and brakes upgrades then

Well wear! - Keep us updated on ownership. I am looking at changing from a ZZR 1200 to one of these at the end of the year

Let me know if you find a front fender extenda that fits. I’ve tried 2 now for the CB 500x & neither fitted. None lusted for the NX…

Pyramid extendable fender for 2022 on CB500X fitted mine perfect. Removing the front mudguard is a pain. I just loosened the fittings and used the supplied plastic prep wipe and double sided tape supplied 👍

My wife has a CB500NX , lovely little thing but the build quality for tightening nuts and bolts was a little poor.
After the first service we got it home and noticed there was one of the front spindle clamp bolts missing.
The dealer sent a bloke in a van who fitted a new one and tightened up the other three together with the front wheel spindle!
the tang on the side stand was bent as well.
Dealer blames Honda, guess who Honda blame !

I'd say the dealer's boy who uncrated the bike and installed the front wheel forgot to tighten the bolts.
 
OK. The dealer fitted the wheel after un-crating it. If not them then whoever it was who took the wheel off after that. (New tyre or whatever reason). I just assumed no one removed the wheel before the initial service.
 
I would expect the dealer to check and torque all wheel, engine, brake, footrest, handlebar, fork bolts on both the pdi and first service.
It's not Hondas fault
 
we even had a video from them doing a walk round which showed the bolt missing!
 
Don't know about Honda’s, but all the many Ducati’s I helped uncrate had both wheels in place as they literally roll off their stillages. Whether they were fitted or not, surely all safety critical torque settings should be checked during PDI
 
Both of my recent Honda's (CRF1000, and VFR1200X ) had the front wheels off and packed beside them in the crate. That's why I assumed the NX500 did.
But if it didn't, and did in fact come assembled from Honda, I think that'd be on Honda. I've never seen any dealership prep guy using a torque wrench checking tightness of fasteners on already assembled parts of the bikes. Heck they don't even check chain tightness or headlight aim, you're lucky if they check oil level and fill the tyres!
