So my brother bought this new in Jan 2025. It’s the automatic version. He has reduced mobility and it really helped him for the last year and a bit. But it’s now got a bit big for him so I’ve done a deal to trade in my R1300GS against a R1300RS for him and I’ve taken his GSA.

Spent the last 2 days taking the stuff of my bike and first thing I did was put my 17inch wheels and carbon mudguard on to see what it looks like. I think it looks great. And after a brief spin on it I think I’m going to like the auto.

Me and Smartbazza booked on the Bilbao boat for early July so another 3000 mile trip to break it in.

This looks great, I’ve just done the 17 front wheel on my GS, I purposely didn’t go GSA as I didn’t think it would look ‘right’ with the 17 wheel, but you’ve just proved me wrong, and have me questioning my choice!

The GSA also looks so much better without the bulky engine guards.

Thanks for sharing and enjoy your trip!

I admired your 17" wheel conversion, and had wished I could achieve the same on my GS Trophy, having recently taken delivery of my second GS Trophy but now with ASA, seeing this has got my juices flowing again, never been a fan of the Big Adv but have to say this one looks sooo good, the little colouring on the tank, the wheels, and subtle other additions really make it rather stunning, well done, Enjoy...

Love it.

Is it an easy swap?

It looks superb. Presumably the silencer and tyre clearance is ok?

I have had the kit about 8 years now. Been on my 1200/1250/1250 adv and now 2 1300’s.

I've seen it before yes. Didn't realise it was so easily interchangeable between the 1200/1250 and 1300.

Reggie, when you fitted this to your 1300's did you notice any difference in the hight, as in more leg bend, ect.?
And to the general handling.?

Cheers

To complete the look, the bike needs a 3D bracket carrier printing-up, so the rear number plate sits approx 5-degrees from the horizontal 👍
