Well, I'm now the proud owner of an LC GS!
Got to the dealership at 9.30am, went through all the paperwork, paid the balance, and signed a few forms. We then went down and looked over the bike, I put the panniers and bags in my wife's car and off she went.
After a 10 minute run through of the bike (I was itching to ride off, but needed to go through all the features with the BMW guy
) off I rode into the sunset. Well off onto wet roads covered in grit, crap and diesel.
Enough of all that, here it is
Initial impressions are that this bike is going to be amazing. Due to the bad weather, brand new tyres and brand new bike, I didn't get a chance to fully explore much, TBH I just wanted to get it home in one piece
(the long way round
). So, after a few miles, the bike was filthy and in need of a clean.
It's now cleaned
(much easier to clean these wheels
) tucked up, and I'll be spending the rest of the day fitting accessories, working out how the heck the Motorrad Navigator works, and reading the manual (I need to know what oil it uses!
).
Bring on the adventures.
I'll report back with as much info as possible over the coming weeks
