Well, I'm now the proud owner of an LC GS! :D

Got to the dealership at 9.30am, went through all the paperwork, paid the balance, and signed a few forms. We then went down and looked over the bike, I put the panniers and bags in my wife's car and off she went.:thumb

After a 10 minute run through of the bike (I was itching to ride off, but needed to go through all the features with the BMW guy:blast:D) off I rode into the sunset. Well off onto wet roads covered in grit, crap and diesel.:comfort

Enough of all that, here it is

Initial impressions are that this bike is going to be amazing. Due to the bad weather, brand new tyres and brand new bike, I didn't get a chance to fully explore much, TBH I just wanted to get it home in one piece :comfort (the long way round:D). So, after a few miles, the bike was filthy and in need of a clean.:blast

It's now cleaned (much easier to clean these wheels:rob) tucked up, and I'll be spending the rest of the day fitting accessories, working out how the heck the Motorrad Navigator works, and reading the manual (I need to know what oil it uses!:pullface).

Bring on the adventures.:beerjug: I'll report back with as much info as possible over the coming weeks:thumb

Nice one....I was a fan of the red one but after seeing black at Bahnstormers last week I think i am a convert.

Enjoy your new bike....looks fantastic.

Cheers

.

That looks really nice, they're not out in France yet, but might go down and have a look when they come out, just to blag a test ride :D

Good to see you have finally got it Nutty, it looks lovely :thumb2

I notice you have engine bars, are they an expensive extra?

Well done mate, enjoy :thumb

A customer of mine tells me the launch is next weekend "one world one GS" in Orange, an easy ride for you I would have thought :D

Nice bike Nutty, health to enjoy.

The front end is nice in that colour......it's almost as if the designers have made it into a desierto stylee fairing already :thumb

Enjoy your new toilet :thumb2

glad you got it mate, and weather can only get better. now keep it and ride the thing do not want to see it for sale in 6 months time because the new model is out, but if you do sell remember our agreement.

Very nice, also starting to prefer that colour combo to the red ones.

Nice...you made the right decision ordering an aftermarket exhaust as i think the stock can is the only thing that lets it down, enjoy your new ride :)

Congratulations. I ordered a red one, but I must admit that black is great. Mine has arrived, and is still in the crate at my dealer's. I will probably ride it out of there in a couple of weeks, weather permitting.

If you need tips or hints for the Navigator IV, PM me as I have the Zumo 660, which is the same GPS. Except for the use of the left grip wheel, which won't work with the 660.

Now, go and ride as much as as you can - safely - to get the 1000 kms service out of the way ASAP.

what farkles you busy fitting today nutty?

Lovely - that's the first time I've seen one in the same colour that I've ordered. Definitely confirms my decision.

Is that the TE model with the chrome exhaust?

The bars were about £320:eek::D

Will try and keep this one a little longer:thumb

Not much, just a side stand enlarger, and a few other bits and bobs. I don't want to weigh it down too much:comfort:D
