Just picked up my new white LC. They do not sell a TE spec as such in Germany, so I have Komfort pack, Dynamic 2 pack, chrome pipes, Varios, Navigator IV, and tank bag.
I have traded up from a 10 year old R850R (which I have had from new) so the differences are substantial.
First impressions are:
* the power jump over my 850!
* the throttle really is sensitive (and that is on the 'Road" setting. The dealer warned me to take care of the throttle if I use 'Dynamic')
* much more space around my feet. Definately does not feel as cramped
* Less buffeting (I only had a small fly-screen on my 850R)
* Very stable/well balanced. Exceptionally so in my opinion.
* It came fitted with the new Metzlers - am still running them in, but am impressed when compared to the BT21's on my 850
* all extras came with the bike when it was delivered, except for the tank bag which is "back order'.
Get a 2 yr guarantee and 2 yrs BMW Assistance here in germany. Is it the same in the UK?
