Smudgers RT is now settled into its new home keeping my Boxer Cup company whilst the GS is being repaired. 
. It was doing its' job' today and even the gearbox is not as clunky as people make out. It now sports a fetching top box, sat nav mount, a new rear tyre (there was life in the old one but this bike is going to be busy over winter) and will get a brighter headlamp bulb in due course.
Smudger has taken good care of her and I have very little fettling to do. I might clean the starter motor up as it hangs on a little after firing up and the 'choke' cable likes to pop out of the lever although this is likely just the little ramp in the junction box sticking and tbh its not worth the hassle of stripping it down.
Very pleased with my purchase and the weather protection it gives is very welcome. And this has to be the best colour you can get them in

Needs a complete redesign really and quite frankly I haven't the energy
