My route App Round Trip Function.

Never really used the Round Trip function



But it’s very clever and lets you plan a round trip from your current location , letting you select types of road, including how twisty, the distance/time you want to be out for and even the quadrant /direction you want to head off in from your starting point . Plan it on say you iPad and then open MRA on phone and click on Round Trip icon and it’ll be duplicated .

Do check the route(s) it offers up. As with any algorithm driven app, it can throw in some wobblies.

Similarly, if you want to navigate it as route, as opposed to a track, do check when it places the shaping points.

Whilst the Navigation app can deal with truly circular routes, I amend the route offered up, to separate the start and end points.

I checked the route by riding it and it was pretty good , taking me down some roads I’ve never ridden
