By pure luck and nothing more, I have never encountered heavy persistent rain, when using my modern iPhone on its Peak Design wireless charger.
I am not too bothered about the waterproof qualities of the phone, nor the charger. What interests me more is the performance of the app on the phone itself.
I know I can lock the screen in the Navigation app * , which (I guess) stops the rain being interpreted as finger touches? Is that a correct assumption?
As I don’t run music, take calls, read texts or any of that malarkey on the move, I have no need to touch the screen too often, so locking it does not trouble me per-se.
Anything I need to know or be ready for, when the heavens do open?
Thank you.
