My Tour X .........

Took my Tour X back to H&G because all the vents had brocken ...

The chin strap was fraid and one of the visor mounts loose ...


So they sent it back to Arai and i got it back today ....

New chin stap ........

New front vent ...........

New plastic side bits ........

New helmet bag ...................

New sticker ...............................

New plastic screws for peak and visor ....

They wouldn't replace the top vent because they found some cleaner residue under them , but replaced the other stuff as a good will gesture and sent me a liitle book on how to care for your helmet

It says do not use cleaners .....

Warm soapy water only ...............

Do not use visor cleaner ...................

Are well we were warned .......................

Then i dropped it .........

They seem to bounce quite well really ...

Saving for a new helmet as i type ............

It's older than that, isn't it? You were wearing it when I met up with you and Forry and Whatton at Samye Ling last year. It doesn't matter anyway since the Arai warranty is for 5 years.

They told me 12 months ................

It'll be 2 yrs in September .........................

But the girl told me it was only 11 months ish as she remembered me ...

Anyway it's mended now ..........

That'll be the warranty that HG offer on the helmet but Phoenix warrantee them for 5 years....

You'll probably find that if you can find a dealership or a race meeting where the Arai Race Truck has set up shop, they'll replace the top vent FOC as well.

And, they are so sure of their quality that they offer a 5 year warranty on them and they were the first to offer this warranty. The Arai helmet is de..............

so much for the 12 month warranty
