My Triple black

Felt a bit way as well, having traded in a mint 2017 (non tft) exclusive with just shy of 10k on the clock. But the flexibility and a little extra oomph and smoothnes of the new engine alone will put the smile back on your face, plus all the new goodies.

Thanks Yofi. Mine is pre TFT too so some good upgrades to look forwards to.

Looks good! Did you add the frame guards or did they come with ut? Do you have any more shots? Im wondering if Black or the silver engine bars would look better...

Hi, they're the bmw protection bars, as a factory order. Black could possibly look cooler, simply that as there's a lot of black I think the rad covers, bar and exhaust provide a contrast. Of course, could always powder coat. I prefer over the motech and touratech's but it's all is the eye of the beholder. They are more square on and 'wrap' the cylinders more than the ones for the 1200, which I guess looked a little more like 'wings'. But no doubt black would soften further. The only other shots I have are these (wunderlich cycl.covers btw):

Just a note to the OP, something that I was more aware of today, is that whilst smoother, it ain't so smooth as perhaps you think from the first one or two rides. It's still a bit vibey, so I'll transfer my bar weights on to it, see if it helps a little. But the extra poke and flexibility on overtakes is very noticeable.

There's a slight glitch with the configurator. Depends how you access the configurator. If you access from the menu you need to start any config then choose change model. Then it gives you the TE choice.

If you choose "build your own" then you get it straight away.

Found t now. Got a TE in the configerator.
Can’t find exactly what the new TE includes over standard GSA.
Anyone enlightened me?

Thanks.

It’s in the spec I sent you

Thanks for the response. May I push you in the frame guards additionally? Im not sure if I need to order them or if they come with. I will have the engine bars from my last bike and have ordered some Black motea ones too. Don't know if I should also order the frame guards though....

Thanks,

Ah, missed the bit about the frame guards. No, they don't come as standard on the TB. I actually bought these for my 1200, so moved them onto this.

Just to note, in case I didn't quite understand your reply, the bars for the 1200 won't fit the 1250, but it sounds like you weren't going down that route anyway.

My last one was a 1250 so no problems on things fitting. Guess that's something else I have to get in addition to the rad guards! I know things aren't cheap at BM but £50for a couple of injection moulded buts of plastic is really pushing it!

Bad, but not as bad as the monies I paid for my rear wheel cap, which was nothing short of embarssing.

Anyway, I nipped out earlier to spray it black for you, so you can compare...

yofi...Nice looking bike ! Can't go wrong with T-B :thumb2 I think I have to get me these Wunderlich valve cover protectors...I think the black TI Akrapovic EU-3 pipe would make your bike complete :thumb

Your TB looks mint. Can't wait for mine to get here.

Mine is getting delivered on 8th March. Only options I ordered were heated seat an auxiliary lights. They're giving me a bike that also has spoked wheels, engine bars, and cylinder protectors for the same discounted price (must've been new stock they wanted to shift). Happy days.

Waved goodbye to mine yesterday.

The wonders of the distances GSers will go to help!😁 thankyou for your Photoshop skills😊

And mine, unfortunately no grass, no off-road, no Waitrose car park since they resurfaced it and no rat run back roads since the mayor decide to close the roads.

Cheers mate! I agree an akra would complete the look, just that as sad as it may sound I prefer the rorty drone of the original over the various add-ons. But I might...BOS make a carbon one that sounds a bit like the original..dunno.
