Having owned the GS1000, GS1100 and the GSA1150 I have to say this is a most awesome bike to ride, bang up to date and is sooooo GS :bow. Initially there are some clacks and crunches to master but now a few miles under my belt the bike shifts like no other GS before it. Be accurate with your throttle/clutch and gear change control and it not only rides super smooth but go's at warp factor 6 when you want it.

I fitted a few practical parts to help protect the front. Really pleased with the 38 litre panniers and mounting frames. I have a slight issue with the engine bars but will explain in another thread.

Fender extenda and Touratat sump guard give a clean finish to the front.

Very nice looking bike, in the best colour!:D Have you replaced the front tyre already?

I went for a redhead as I have a black bike already and hate keeping her clean, but I wish I had gone for a black again. It does look nice on a GS.
Then again colour is hardly relevant on this bike. Two panels off and you can have any colour you like so long as its black. Nicely chosen mods. I like it
