So, while le bike has been in bits over the winter, I decided the wheels could do with some TLC.

Pre treatment, they looked like so......

Rims were a bit tatty, spokes were ok but I wanted a subtle new look and the hubs were suffering from spots of corrosion and needed addressing.

So, I hunted for a company that could undertake the work for me and landed upon Hagon Ltd in Essex. They specialise in shocks & wheels, and jolly nice lads they are too, with great customer service & efficient comms.......:D

So, the end result is below, and a pic with new boots fitted......and very happy I am too....:D

Roll on Spring.......:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Very nice mate.:thumb

Let's have a picture of them on the bike.

Nice. Hagon are rebuilding my Zzr600 shock to my spec ATM.
I might even have a set of their fork springs too. ..

As you'll know Tim, they've got a good set up & they're good blokes that know their stuff....:D

I really liked the fact that when I gave them the part number they could tell me exactly who built the shock in the first place.
Complete rebuild, re sprung and revalved to suit my weight for £150. A new shock is £300 ish.

new shoes

sweet looking rims, hubs and spokes ....... let me know how you get on with the contis'
