One minute it's sitting there looking all nice and clean, coated with a thin layer of oil and then the next - it's gone. . . .

My very short lived and loved experience of XC ownership is no more ... :(

It's gone to a good home though ... :thumb2

Ride safe Pinkytiff ... :beerjug:

Did you like the elephant that much............:pullface

What can I say, no heated grips, screen, ABS, thermometer, etc etc like the GS -but I somehow get the feeling I'm going to love it! 130m in the rain & cold back to Surrey & it felt fabulous. Can't wait to get on the byways & hoping my shoulder is up to the wombat run at the end of the month! Cheers Captain :-)

See what happens when the leader of the gang retires :ymca .... That trip is a ship without a paddle .... and needs a Captain ...

If someone from that ride wants to lend me a bike .... :blast - I'll gladly front the ride for you ... :augie

Thanks for the heads up Andy ... I might go there with four wheels-well it is a beemer ...

Got just the bike that will fit in with the spirit of the ride... if I could only find the key! (That's no dig at you Autogs!!)

What is going on then? Why don't some of the 'Newland's' Boyz :ymca go on the thread and show them how it's done ...:nenau

( I see PJ has put his name down ....) ... as long as SADO is not tail end Charley - they stand half a chance of getting there ... :augie

:D

Are you back to work tomorrow Dave?
Having a play over Avebury way if you are interested. I can pick you up in the van somewhere if it's a help.

Hi Adam, I'm off actually - but I think I ought to give my shoulder a bit more time to get over a dislocation a few weeks ago. I hope to be out n about within a few weeks tho, ta for the invite :thumb

No worries mate.
It's only a gentle bimble on some easy lanes with a couple of elderly gents (Millard is one of em ;)) but not worth the chance I suppose.

Between the Newland's mob - PJ , Haggis, Auto- (if he can find his keys) etc ... surely they can get that snake moving .... enough experience riding in a large group.

No over taking .... I'll walk faster than that convoy .... next they'll be splitting them up into groups of ability or the colour of your bike ....

I knew you wouldn't be going .... well - you wouldn't want to get that fake SE dirty again now would you ....... :augie

Me bitter? ...... :( - might have to go on that wanted thread sooner than I thought ..... :blast

I was going to offer my services but i didn't want 24 bikes piling into the back of me on every left hand bend :blast:augie

Maybe if you post a link to your Fish & Chip run to show how well a rideout can be organised and enjoyed (I would but don't know how).

Besides i'll probably be leading the rideout down to you and of coarse the wales trip :clap and Haggis is doing the Scotland trip :oonyack.
